Organic Matatabi Powder

Matatabi (Actinidia Polygama), also know as Silver Vine, is a deciduous climbing vine grown in the high mountainous regions of eastern Asia. It produces fragrant clusters of fruits similar to kiwi. In traditional Chinese and Japanese medicine it has been used as a preventative health aid for centuries and it is still commonly used as an alternative therapy for various illnesses. Matatabi has long been known to elicit euphoric responses in cats. This is because it contains not one, but two cat attractant compounds: the first attracts and relaxes, the second has a stimulating, sweet tea-like fragrance. The combined effect is similar to the Catnip response, but appears to be more intense. Many cats who are immune to Catnip will respond positively to Matatabi. Typical behaviors include rolling, chin and cheek rubbing, drooling and licking. The effect usually lasts between five and 30 minutes.
